Red Cow
If you are just coming to New York for the first time, I mean, you gotta have the pizza(in my opinion). So please enjoy your elite slices and pies from the list below, but do not forget to snag a few $1 slices from random street spots because those will still be better than most pizzas you can get outside of the city and are just part of the beauty of this city. In addition to pizza, there are some other nice spots I have for you, from bagels to burgers.
Pizza

Mario’s is a beautiful place to snag a pie in St. Paul! Their square pies are perfected with cupped pepperonis that a man dreams of, and their sauce is absolutely delicious. However, I believe the highlight at Mario’s is the crust. It is perfectly crunchy and fluffy and just all-around delectable. Mario’s is a must if you are in the Twin Cities looking for a pizza.
Burgers

Red Cow is a very popular place to snag a burger in Minneapolis, and you will see why as soon as you take your first bite. I only had one burger here, the double barrel, however I have confidence whatever burger suits your fancy will hit the spot for you. The double barrel is nothing fancy when it comes to burgers, however Red Cow’s special sauce is clearly the standout here. It is simply a smash burger that will always hit the spot when you are in the mood for a quality burger.

Now, Nook may have a fairly low ranking overall, but that should not deter you from coming here. This is actually a stop that I would say is a must when in the Twin Cities for vibes alone. It seems like a bar however Nook has a bowling alley underneath where you can bowl and eat some delicious food and have a drink or two if you are up for it. While the “stuffed” burgers are their specialty here, I would not say that is a must-try as the burger was pretty average, in my opinion. That being said, the highlight of Nook is its fries. These fries are damn good and are an amazing snack to have while you bowl. So definitely come by Nook for an amazing time whenever you are in the area.

Yet another amazing place to snag a pie in the Twin cities. However, while Mario’s is in St. Paul, Fat Lorenzo’s is in Minneapolis. Additionally, it is located right by the airport (and therefore also the Mall of America) so if you are going to, or returning from either of these places, why not get an amazing pie? You can take it with you through security or bring to a friend coming off a flight to see you in your winter wonderland. These pizzas have an amazing combo of fluffy to crunchy to flavor. The sauce is absolute kick-ass and the crust is very tasty. Definitely stop by Fat Lorenzo’s whenever you can, and I guarantee you’ll be coming back.
